COCSD has been asked to participate in the 27th Annual LA MESA FLAG DAY PARADE
When: Saturday June 13th, 2026
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Meet up location: Walmart Grocery, 8810 Grossmont Blvd., La Mesa, CA 919142
** We have been asked to provide 6 cars for the parade.

*From the meet up location we will proceed as a group to the parade lineup location.
*The parade starts at 10:00 a.m., and proceeds West through the La Mesa Village from Memorial Drive to Acacia Ave.
Parade Entry Important Dates/Times:
◦ Staging: 8:00 – 9:30 AM
◦ Parade: Begins at 10:00 AM
◦ Float Competition: 9:40 AM in float staging area
◦ Winner will have a “Float Winner” banner carried in front of the float by local volunteers.
The La Mesa Flag Day Parade is a cherished annual tradition that celebrates our nation’s colors and spirit of patriotism.
Since its inception in 1997, the parade has become a beloved community event, featuring vibrant floats, marching bands, and local groups.
