SUMMARY:Grand Prix of Long Beach 
DESCRIPTION:The COCSD Racing Team is going to head up to Long Beach in Apri
 l to watch the pros race.\n\nThe Grand Prix of Long Beach is actually seve
 ral races\, including the IMSA GTLM Sports Car race on Saturday\, with Tea
 m Corvette\, along with the BMWs\, Porsches and Ferraris in that class.  
 The Indy Car race is the "grand finale" on Sunday.  There are other races
  as well\, including the Historic IMSA Challenge\, with classic sports car
 s.\n\nThere is a Corvette Corral on Friday and Saturday\, which will inclu
 de Corvette parking\, a big hospitality tent\, lunch on Saturday and guest
  speakers both days.\n\nThere will be autograph sessions for both the Indy
  Car drivers and the GTLM teams.  You may want to bring something for the
 m to sign.  Or pick up one of the autographed posters they will bring.\n\
 nThe Convention Center will be filled with race-related vendors and displa
 ys.  In past years\, it has also served as the paddock for the Pirelli Wo
 rld Challenge teams.\n\nK1 Speed will be setting up a temporary kart track
  at the top of a parking structure next to the convention center.\n\nTicke
 t prices for the 3 days\, with reserved seating for Saturday and Sunday ar
 e around $150.  There are extras that can be purchased.  Or you can get 
 general admission passes with no reserved seating.\n\nThe Corvette Corral 
 is $30 per day.  You must purchase reserved seat tickets or a general adm
 ission pass to be able to purchase Corral passes.  Parking outside the Co
 rral is $15 to $20 per day\, depending upon location.  For tickets and in
 fo\, go to GP Long Beach tickets and info\n\nWe got a group deal at the Re
 sidence Inn Long Beach\, about 5 miles from the race site.  Studios and 2
 -bedroom\, 2-bath penthouse suites are available.  Hotel rooms within 10
