The East County Cruisers are hosting their “Summer Fling, It’s a Car Show Thing” from 9 am to 2 pm on Sunday, July 21 at Santee’s Town Center Community Park East.
COCSD members earned a number of awards at the show last year and COCSD won the Club Participation Award. Let’s see if we can duplicate that feat this year. We will meet near the Starbucks in Santee Trolley Square, 9868 Mission Gorge Rd. (east of the Target store) at 7:30 am and drive over together.
Bob Pratt has extended the challenge to the East County Cruisers to match our Summer Fling registrations with their Main Street America registrations. So it’s a win-win for both clubs.
Pre-registration is $25 plus a non-perishable food donation. You must have your registration in the mail by the 13th! The first 150 registrants get an event t-shirt and a dash plaque. Proceeds benefit Home Front San Diego and local civilian families. You can register at the show, but it will cost you $30.
