The “Non Virgin Territory Run “ is scheduled for September 18th and we will meet in Valley Center to begin this run. I have chosen this location as the origin as it is difficult to get twenty some vehicles to Valley Center without going thru high traffic areas with several traffic lights. I have selected the Tractor Supply Company (27444Valley Center Rd., Valley Center, CA 92082) as our starting place for it’s large parking lot and a Chevron Station next to it. Hopefully it’s not full of cars when we get there. We will meet at 8:30AM, drivers meeting at 8:45AM and departure at 9AM.
Non Virgin Territory Run Signup
This run is about 160 miles in length. It’s one of the best combinations of roads I have put together for a club run. We go north on Lilac Road and Couser Canyon Road to the 76 and Pala Temecualor Road to the 79 and Sage Road (R3) to Hemet and up the 74 past Mt Jacinto and Lake Hemet to the 373.
From there it’s south and down hill to thru Anza, Warner Springs, Santa Isabel and into Ramona. We will be by passing Dudley’s on our way to D’Carlos for lunch on 1347 Main Street, Ramona. There is no prepaid lunch for this run. Please sign up on the website if you plan to attend I need a head count for the restaurant. I will have a turn by turn document for print out prior to the run.
If you consider going the opposite direction on Sage Road as doing it for the first time, this could still be considered a “Virgin Territory” Run!!!!
Look forward to seeing everybody as we will not be meeting in person at this months Members Meeting.
