Saturday, October 23rd is our annual trip to Palm Desert for lunch at the Omni Ranch Los Palmas Resort in Rancho Mirage.
We will meet at Denny’s, 1946 Main Street, Ramona at 9AM, drivers meeting at 9:15 and departure at 9:30. Lunch is $23.00 Per Person, tax and tip included. The menu is the same as last year except the Turkey Club is now Chicken Club (menu is attached). This is a 4 star resort and the food and service is great.
The route we will take is the same as the last two years going past Warner Springs, Anza, over the back side to Palm Desert down the 74. After lunch we will go east and pick up the 86 south past the Salton Sea and come into Borrego Spring from the east on state route 22. We will exit Borrego Springs via Montezuma Valley Road back to the 79 and from there head to our final stop back in Ramona. This is a long run with restroom and gas stops along the way.
