Come watch the sunrise over the Desert, then
outdoor breakfast at Janet’s Montana Café (Alpine)
Meet 5:00 a.m. -Depart 5:15 a.m. (sunrise is 6:33 a.m)
Meet at: Chevron station & Extra Mile convenience Store, Southwest corner
of Navajo Rd & Lake Murray Blvd. 8780 Lake Murray Blvd, San Diego, CA 92119
(Open 24 Hrs).
Route: Navajo Rd., East to 125 South; 8 East to Pine Valley Rd.; Right to Old
Highway 80, then Left on Sunrise Highway. Continue past Laguna Mountain
Lodge and Trading Post, and then Turn Right on the first road (unmarked) past
the Desert View Picnic Area. WATCH THE SUNRISE – then continue North on
Sunrise Hwy to the 79 South past Lake Cuyamaca to Japatul Valley Rd, to Tavern Rd, to Alpine Blvd for outdoor Breakfast at Janet’s Montana Café 2506 AlpineBlvd (self pay for breakfast).
