COCSD Christmas Party at Tom Ham’s
66 COCSD Members attended the 2019 Holiday/Christmas party at Tom Ham’s Restaurant on Harbor Island. The room for the event offered a stunning view of downtown San Diego and the North Island Naval Base. Everyone enjoyed some delicious finger food before hand with a nice bar set up for many to indulge in an “adult beverage” or two of their choice. Dinner was served banquet style and included a delicious servings of chicken, roast beef, fish, vegetables, salad and dessert. After dinner, we had four great raffle prizes that were given out to the lucky winners to enjoy. After we enjoyed desserts of cheesecake and pie, we were treated to a great DJ who spun a variety of 50’s and 60’s music in keeping with the crowd. It was a beautiful sunny day and many migrated to the outside patio to enjoy the view while talking around belly bars, and even enjoying a few games that were set up to enjoy and participate. The evening concluded with an awesome moonrise coming up behind downtown San Diego, which made many stop, take notice and snap plenty of pictures. Oh and Santa Claus did make an appearance with promises to those good little boys and girls of a new C8 Corvette that would arrive in their driveways in 2020! We look forward to seeing everyone next year to celebrate the holiday season.
