To All COCSD Members:

We have been invited as a club to participate in the 40th Annual OB Holiday Parade. The event chair gave me a strict limit of 10 cars. Since this parade is held after dark, it’s probably best to light up your car with Christmas lights so people can see your car. The minimum lights would probably be the outline of your car but you can go as wild as you want. Anything goes at the OB Holiday Parade.

I’ve included a link to about a 10 minute video from the OB Parade in 2017. If you want to skip the pre-parade activities, just advance to minute 2:15 of this video. Harley-riding Santas lead off this parade.

I’ve attached a flyer with most of the info I have right now. More details will follow after I attend a pre-parade meeting with the OB Town Council on December 1st.

I already have verbal acceptances from 3 club members of the maximum 10 car slots. So if you want to go, now’s the time to let me know you’re coming. My wife and I go to this parade every year but it will be our first time in the parade.

There is no general club meeting before this parade. If you have questions about anything regarding this parade, just call me. The video will probably answer most of your questions. My phone numbers are on the flyer.
