COCSD has participated in the “Summer Sundays” event at the Village Walk shopping center in Eastlake for a number of years. It wasn’t until I had gone back to find old photos that I realized just how many years it had been. My oldest photos are from 2012. That means this year was our 14th event (there was no event in 2020). The Club gets paid $200 to bring a bunch of Corvettes, park them, and then hang out for a couple of hours. Easy money! It’s always fun and a great time to get to know fellow COCSD members a bit better.
This year’s event was attended by members Bob Bearss, Sam Campbell, Roberta Degener and Chris Spencer, Craig Gillam, Sam Lewis, Craig Moya, Frank Pizarro, A.J. Ronacher, Spence and Rose Thomas, Vic Tortorici and George and Amy Wolhgemuth. Joining us were former members Randy Kilpatrick and Judi Spuris. We hope they’ll be renewing their membership soon!
