Topless Run

For some fun in the sun we brought back the Topless Run. We gathered two dozen cars in Imperial Beach and took a leisurely drive up the Silver Strand and into Coronado.  Crossing the bridge we lost a couple of cars but were able to gather up again at Spanish Landing for a pit stop.  From there we proceeded to Mission Bay Park where Doug Ray and Ken Carson had grills fired up for the crowd and we socially distanced a gathering over good food and better company.The run itself was at a slower pace than the usual run in order to really enjoy the beautiful city in which we live.  Views of the ocean, San Diego bay, downtown made it an enjoyable ride.  The carne asada and pollo asada at the end was the perfect way to cap off the day.  The plan is to make this an annual event with new routes to really appreciate the ability to go topless and take in the view.
