Saturday October 24th is the last scheduled run on our calendar for 2020. Attachment #1 shows the route we will be taking. This is a 240 mile run from start to finish. Please show up with a full tank of gas and let Ken know if you will need to refuel during the run. We will leave Carl’s Jr in Poway at 8:45 AM driving through Ramona, Santa Isabel, Warner Springs to the Cahuilla Casino in Anza for restroom break (about 70 miles). From Anza we head over the mountains and down to Palm Desert and the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort for our lunch. We then take the I 10 east to the 86 and head south to Salton Sea City. There we stop for our second restroom break before heading to Borrego Springs. Last year we went thru Julian, but this year we will go up Montezuma Valley Road out of Borrego Springs to the 79 and Santa Isabel finishing the run in Ramona at Cheers Restaurant and Bar for refreshments and saying goodbye.
The lunch will be served outside on a covered patio overlooking the 18th green of the golf course. The weather is predicted to be cooler and we are in the shade. The cost of the lunch is $23 per person and includes a salad, sandwich, drink, tax and tip (see Menu). Please pay in advance on the website and do so before October 21th.

OBW, this is the last scheduled run, but it will not be our last. My objective was to have some kind of a run each month and I will make that happen.
